ChocolateAudio is Simone Coen’s audio production site.
Its services span from production and engineering for music productions to sample libraries productions. Simone entered the studio in early 2003 to sample Elio Rivagli’s drum kit for his own work, but the results turned out to be so good that we decided to deliver it to a wider audience. Imperial Drums was born.
Initially as a HALion 2 library, it was later ported to Kontakt 1.5 and in late 2005 there was the release of a much expanded version: Scarbee Imperial Drums XL, a virtual instrument based on the Steinberg HALion engine.
This last effort for Scarbee was honoured with two very good reviews on “Sound On Sound” and “Virtual Instruments Magazine”, where SID XL is mainly praised for its quality and lifelike rendition of its samples.
In 2006 ChocolateAudio worked on new productions for Native Instruments Battery 3 and for a new Loop Line exclusively published and distribute by SONiVOX.
2007 is looking bright with the launch of this web site featuring a direct download shop and a boxed products shop with its upcoming products.
Downloadable products are high quality instruments meant for instant gratification and are developed exclusively for this destination (they will never likely end on a pressed CD/DVD), while boxed products will be much bigger, trying to satisfy the need for a big collection of sounds or a deeply sampled instrument.
We sincerely hope that our products will satisfy your need for high quality sampled instruments which ever mean of delivery you will choose. Let music rule. Simone Coen ChocolateAudio
