| ChocolateAudio chooses for its production duties products from Focusrite and Blue Sky, powered by Grisby Music. | | Focusrite LiquidMix
| | Since I saw it at the 2006 MusikMesse, I felt that this tool could really change the way ChocolateAudio approached its productions. This is an incredibly flexible mixing toolbox and it comes at such a low price that it is almost a steal. Personally, as a sound designer and producer, I do not care much about ow faithful a replica is in regards to the original, what I care about is the sound and the flexibility. LiquidMix is one of the tools which allows me to deliver the same kind of quality I am used to, while saving me tons of boring editing hours. The optimized workflow allowed by LiquidMix turns into the high quality instruments that we are able to deliver to our users. | | Focusrite ISA828 |
| When I recorded the original Scarbee Imperial Drums I had many mic preamps to choose from in the studio. Grisby had lent me a ISA428 that I ended up using on Bass Drums and Snare Drum mics after some tests. From that moment on, the ISA is my first choise for most production work for its clarity and fast impulse response while preserving that 'English sound' I am so fond of. now, the ISA828 has lent even more to the quality of our samples thanks to an even better sound quality and 8 channels in place of 4 | | Blue Sky System One and ProDesk |
| These sets of 'x.1' monitors deliver one of the most stable and focused soundfields I've ever heard through a studio monitor. The design is quite cool, but apart from that, the 'fake' three-way design allows for much more control in the critical low frequencies department, but it is so well designed that, after proper calibration, the '.1' never gets into the way of my music. Punch and volume are jst the right amount if you wish to work with your ears for year to come. | | Millennia HV-3D |
| The HV-3D is quite simply the most transparent mic preamp we came across. Its high fidelity and lightning fast response times make it a great choice for the kind of sampling jobs we do. Add to this preamp the flexibility and coloring options of the ISA and some other preamps and our line-up of mic preamps is flexible and complete | | Others | | Although not explicitly endorsed, ChocolateAudio would like to give credit to the following brands and products: Redmatica Keymap and Autosampler Apple Logic Pro Digidesign Pro Tools - TDM, LE and M-Powered Apogee Ensemble, Duet and AD-DA/Rosetta series converters Steinberg Nuendo Audiofile Engineering Sample Manager Audiofile Engineering Wave Editor Izotope RX Zero-X BeatQuantizer |
