The Mock Bass is the first 'melodic' offering from ChocolateAudio. This new sample set makes good use of the custom scripting available in Kontakt, but it is also avaiable in EXS24MKII format.

Three Sounds in one package
D.I. Direct Sound: played direct through a Millenia TD-1 and Apogee converters at 96 Khz.
Rock Sound: reamped through an Ampeg rig with Neumann mic and Focusrite preamp, then direct to Apogee at 96 Khz.
Round Sound: reamped through a Mark Bass rig with AKG mic and Focusrite preamp, then direct to Apogee at 96 Khz.
No additional processing whatsoever was applied to the recordings.
You can either buy the DI only sound or the Production Pack featuring the three sounds at a very competitive price.
