|
| Scarbee Imperial Drums and the Halion Player version Scarbee Imperial Drums XL were the onset of ChocolateAudio adventure into sample-land. Featuring 48 GB of samples in 44.1/24 format, this product was the first multimic drum library to ever face the market (pretty much at the same time the great BFD virtual instrument from Fxpansion debuted) and it still features the most advanced and detailed rendition of a hi-hat cymbal with multimic samples for 14 velocities and 14 openings of the hat. With these products ChocolateAudio stated its dedication to high quality sample sets and its belief that sample production needs a completely different approach and recording techniques when compared to common record production. The neutral sounding room chosen for SID and SID XL allowed countless customizations of the sound and almost four years later these libraries are still considered to be top notch. | |
| ChocolateAudio was approached by NI to produce 4 Kits for Native Instruments Battery 3. NI's personnel loved so much the quality of the kits as to ask us to create one further kit. Two main kits, the Pop Kit and the Full Jazz Kit, feature an almost life-like rendition of two drum sets ready to play and take advantage of the advanced features users find in Battery 3. Three additional kits, Dub Remix, Tight and Elektro Acoustik, feature a more colored and extreme processing while preserving control due to a quite high amount of samples for each drum. The Elektro Acoustik kit was an experiment we decided to try and emulate the beat-box sound starting from a real drum set. |
| ChocolateAudio produced with Native Instruments the KoreSoundPack Pop Drums. Featuring two full acoustic drum kits, sampled at the highest studio-quality and fully utilizing the KONTAKT engine integrated into KORE 2 and KORE PLAYER, this pack contains 20 KoreSounds covering full acoustic kits, smaller 'quick-use' versions, and a selection of sounds using KORE's built-in effects. Additionally, POP DRUMS used with KORE 2 or KORE PLAYER include numerous sound variations and a large selection of MIDI grooves for a broad range of production styles. | | | | | | |
